Have you ever searched for a list of things to do in Utah, but everything you’re finding isn’t really what you’re looking for? Our goal is to provide you with a new list every month of things to do, in hopes that there will always be a couple of new things on the list that you haven’t tried yet!
We believe that these weekend adventures will not only create some lasting memories with loved ones, but that it’s good for both your emotional and mental health. Plus these are all things that can be done with social distancing guidelines in place.

According to the event: “Don’t miss our Monster Polar Plunge, Monster Cisco Disco, Monster Cisco Tournament, Monster Chili Cook-off, Monster Outdoor Expo and Raffle on Saturday. Locals will have hot chocolate, fried Cisco, and scones available for the public to try. There will also be an Indoor Expo at The Sunrise Resort Event Center and a Winterfest Social Friday night with Karaoke and a hot chocolate bar with donuts! Donations are always welcome. How many of you have ever been to a live hockey game? Now’s your chance! Cheer on our home team while they give their all in hopes of reaching the Stanley Cup finals!
While these are not all of the lakes to go ice fishing on, these are the Lakes for this months challenge. Have you ever tried ice fishing? Since the water is covered in ice, the fish don’t have the bugs to feed off of. That means they’re hungry! Give it a shot! You might pickup a new hobby!
If you’ve never seen the broken sheets of ice pile up at Utah Lake, you’re in for a treat! Google Utah Lake ice and check out all of the images of the ice. Not only is it cool to see, they make some gorgeous photos!
This years Sundance Film Festival runs from January 28th – February 3rd, 2021. Tickets are available now with an updated schedule, but be sure to check for updates to the schedule due to any COVID-19 restrictions.
Hike the trails at Antelope Island and take pictures with a drone. (Drones are allowed during winter with the purchase of a permit).
Looking for a new location to fly the new drone you got for Christmas? During December – February, Antelope Island is open to drones, but only if you call and purchase a permit. Call the number in the link for more information.
