I highly recommend Clegg Auto in Spanish Fork! Stopped in to get help with getting a couple rusty screws removed from my rear license plate. Weston took the time to take my tail gate apart to get them out and then put my new plate on with nice new bolts. I didn’t even have an appointment. I’m so impressed with the customer service. Really professional, friendly, work quickly to do the evaluation of your vehicles problems. I really loved how they do their work estimates! They break each part down, tell you about it, then email it to you to allow you to choose to "authorize" each part of the proposed repairs/actions, or not. We were passing through Spanish Fork yesterday (Saturday) on a cross-country trip, stopped in town to gas up and go, when our car wouldn't re-start. After help from some amazing locals, we had it towed to Clegg's, assuming it wouldn't get looked at until Monday morning. The general manager, Glen, saw our post for help on Facebook, and volunteered to come down, at 9pm on a Saturday(!), to take a look at it for us. He had us up and running again in an hour. Took my car in for a leak and to check my motor mounts. I was quoted for the service before hand but was told to wait for the final call before I paid for anything. When the mechanic couldn’t find anything to do with a leak and my motor mounts were good, they told me that they were NOT going to charge me a thing! They did find that my battery connection were needing to be cleaned and offered to do that. They cleaned them for a small fee and I was on my way. They gave me a courtesy loaner vehicle to use while my car was being repaired and found me a wonderful tow company to get my broken down vehicle towed to their garage. Took my truck in to get a crater (not a dent but a crater) out of my tailgate and near the passenger rear door. Karlee called me every week to give me an update and estimated window of when I can expect it to be done. When I dropped of my truck they were upfront with the price and what to expect along the way. My Family was on a road trip and traveling through Utah on vacation when our Truck developed a concerning oil leak. We stopped by the local dealer who told us they were unable to help us out. Clegg was awesome! I took my Ford F-150 in and had a few things diagnosed and repaired. They were thorough in examining the sound my truck was making and offered some solutions that were honest and fair. Mark and the team are great to work with. I took my son’s 2001 truck in for inspection to see what can be done to save it. They took the time to walk me through and explain in detail the inspection process and results and then the same with repairs. Did not need to scrap the truck and at a very fair price my son now have a perfectly running truck again! Will for sure return with any future repair and service work for my vehicles.

Clegg is the best! Their tow truck driver was clean and quick, and drove all the way up to Salt Lake to pick up our vehicle after the brakes went out. Then, once it was at the shop, they did a thorough evaluation and found the problem. They even had a second technician double check everything before moving forward with work. They did an amazing job at communicating the progress of my vehicle with me and they were open and honest about everything. I will be using them again and again!

My initial contact with Clegg Auto was for an oil change for my car. I made an appointment for the same day I called and took the car in. The service was great, the staff I interacted with were all very friendly and what really impressed my wife was the waiting area. She's the one who usually takes the cars for service and waits for them to be finished. She was so excited about the seating and overall cleanliness of the waiting area. I found the price reasonable for the service and the oil change was completed (along with a general inspection of the car) in a very short time. Tim is an outstanding leadership example and he has lead his complete team to the same end and with that he has built a business the community of Spanish Fork can be very proud to have in their neighborhood. These folks have no idea who we are, they knew we arrived from out of town and still treated us like family or more likely just how they would like to be treated when in a similar situation. Brought in my Subaru, which was purchased at auto source a few years ago, with a variety of issues. WARNING out there to those who may be looking at purchasing a vehicle from auto source with a wrecked title.I asked the team at Clegg Auto auto to find the problems that were causing all kinds of noise and vibrations on the front end of the car. They communicated and every step with photos and explanations. In the end, they returned my Subaru to me running better than it has in a couple of years. These guy are AMAZING!!I had my truck at a different shop and really felt like I was getting the run around. I was told the repairs on my truck would be $6800 to $11000. When Clegg Auto got my truck they looked at it and called me to talk about what they had found. Turns out the shop that had it earlier had put too much oil in the truck casing it to leak. Clegg Auto changed my oil and told me to come back in a week or two if it was still leaking oil. My problem was solved with a simple diagnostic, phone call and an oil change (which I still need to pay for. They told me to see what happens and then come back….who does that these days?!).I value honesty above all else. These guys are as honest as they come. They very easily could have done the more expensive repairs and I would have been none the wiser. My 1996 Toyota Avalon, which has 300K+ miles on it has been running a little hot, and the driver side Windows regulator and motor quit working so I had a window that was down all the time. They gave their initial estimate to fix the window but they were aware of my financial situation so they worked with me and helped me find ways to locate a regulator and motor and then worked a plan for me that saved me a lot of money. They were willing to let my car stay on their lot until the issues were fixed, which was a huge help! Dave, who worked on my car kept me posted via text almost every day, which was extremely helpful. Laramie and Tim were also great to work with in helping me find options that could help me keep my old car from heading to the car graveyard just yet. My car is running great now and my pocket book wasn’t beat up in the process! Clegg Auto is amazing and I will always recommend my friends, family, and anyone who needs car repairs to go to them. Clegg’s was amazing. I walked in, they were slammed and said they would work me in the next couple of days. They called that afternoon and told me what was happening and what needed to be done. Laramie gave me all the options and what she recommended and asked what I wanted to do, she gave no pressure one way or the other. Very good experience, I don’t like to pay for a mechanic because I’m pretty handy but rest assured I will be back for any future repairs.

My car’s AC didn’t work, so I took it in and they said the condenser had a hole in it. They replaced the condenser and charged it, and now it cools like a fridge! They also did some work on the sway bar and I’ve noticed my handling around corners is better now. Everyone was friendly, and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. I also received timely shuttle rides to and from the shop. Clegg knows what they’re doing!

We developed brake trouble on our way from Wyoming to Utah. We had a commitment later that day that we could not miss. They were able to perform the brake replacement and accommodate the needs of our adaptive vehicle in a very gracious manner. I come here for my car maintenance on my Hyundai, and I know that I'm always getting a good value. I drive a lot of miles on my car and they are always so good to bring up concerns but speak to me honestly about what it takes to do maintenance repairs. One time I noticed my car was leaking antifreeze fluid, so I took it into the shop and they came back out a quick 5 mins later and said "no charge!" What? really? Yes, it was just the gasket head needed to be adjusted. As a non-car person non-handy person there would have been no way for me to know even if they had decided to charge me $200, so I appreciate their honesty.read more
